The purpose of this new home school application is to help relieve the workload of you, the teacher. The goal is to allow you to accomplish more in the area of teaching while we handle the administration of exercises and quizzes online. Over the next several months you can expect to see more interactive exercises added to this online application.

Your input in the way of suggestions and comments will be gladly accepted. We are currently concentrating in the area of mathematics. There is already a math review application available here at MrKent.com which may prove helpful. It was originally designed to assist high school graduates in preparation for admission examinations. You may also find the humorous English tutor helpful in teaching the parts of speech. Both of these may be found on the list of resources available at the Home Page of MrKent.com.

Pizza Fractions A graphic method to help learn more about fractions by slicing a pizza for two, four, six, and eight people. Each click moves a slice of pizza to or from your dinner plate. Clicking the plate removes sections of pizza.

Reviewing Pizza Fractions A graphic review of the above lesson. A fractional portion of pizza is presented along with four possible fractional equivalents. Each student response is reinforced with an immediate reply. The overall results are displayed for printing following each review. You may select as few as 10 or as many as 50 prompts.
