GOD'S FREE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE

You have probably arrived at this page because of your interest in receiving a free gift. Please understand that this was not a trick that someone played on you. You really do have a FREE GIFT available to you if you wish to receive it.

Mister Kent received his free gift at the age of eleven. Here is a brief description of that incident in his own words:
My sweet grandmother had taken me with her to church services many times as I was growing up in Seattle, Washington. When Billy Graham came to town she took me on the city bus to the football stadium located near the area where the Space Needle now stands. That's where Billy Graham was holding his meetings.

I had a habit of leaning forward, resting my elbows on my knees, and staring at the floor while my grandmother listened closely to whatever the preacher was saying. But as we were seated high up in the grandstand of that football stadium that day, she made a very stern statement that I will never forget: She said, "Sit up straight and pay attention!"

I had learned through experience that there were certain times that you DID NOT argue with my grandmother. And the tone of voice she used that day told me it was one of those times. So, I sat up and listened to what Billy Graham had to say that day.

He explained that I would someday come to the end of my life on this earth. He told how God had given me this body as a temporary home for my eternal soul. He pointed out that when my body died my soul would still live on. And he made it clear that there were only two places left where my soul could go to live for eternity: Heaven or hell.

He gave a brief but vivid description of each - Heaven is a wonderful place to spend eternity in the presence of a loving God. Hell exists as a lake of fire where I would burn forever in eternal pain.

Then he helped me to understand that I was, by nature, a sinful person. And he named some of the things I already knew I was doing wrong which were sinful. During all this time he was quoting verses from the Bible which confirmed what he was saying.

When he told me I could never get into heaven in my sinful condition he had my attention. For the first time in my life I understood that even if God loved me more than my grandmother loved me, he could never let me go to heaven. He is perfect and cannot even look upon sin and I am sinful by nature. That was NOT good news.

But then Billy Graham began telling me about what the Bible calls the GOOD NEWS. That's what the word Gospel means: Good news!

Because God loves Mister Kent so much, he sent Jesus to die for me and pay the price for ALL of my sins. Billy Graham explained that everything was paid in full and all I needed to do to receive it was to reach out and ask for it.

I wasn't the smartest kid in the world at age eleven but I knew where I wanted to go when I died. And it wasn't a lake of fire. So on that day, sitting high above the football field below, I reached out and took hold of the free gift of God's grace through Jesus Christ. Since that day I have experienced the love of God in my life and I know FOR SURE that I will go to heaven when I die.
Would you like to know for sure that when you die you will go to Heaven? If so, keep reading.

The first thing you must understand is that all of us, including yourself, are sinful. We were brought into this world through a body of flesh that was corrupted from the beginning when Adam first sinned.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God:

The next thing you must understand is that Heaven is a place where there is no sin. God loves you but He hates sin and cannot allow it into Heaven. Therefore, when your body dies your soul cannot enter Heaven.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God created hell for the devil and his angels (demons) but if we die in our sin our soul follows the same path as that of the devil. We would be bound for hell.

Because of His great love for you and me, God sent His son, Jesus, who was sinless, to die in our place on the cross.

By accepting Jesus through faith God places all of our sins beneath the blood that Jesus shed on the cross.

Romans 5:8

But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

The last thing you need to understand is how to accept this free gift. It isn't by trying to be good, because we just can't be good - we're born sinners. The free gift of salvation requires nothing more than a sincere trust in Jesus. A trust that comes from the heart and changes how you look at life.

Romans 10:10

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You plainly tell God through a simple prayer that you are ready to turn you life over to Him. Let Him know that you are ashamed of your sin and you are asking forgiveness through the blood that Jesus shed on the cross for you.

God will hear that prayer and accept your sincere request for salvation.

Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It doesn't matter what you have done or who you are, God loves you and is waiting to hear your prayer. If you don't know what to say, simply read the following prayer out-loud to God. He is waiting!

Dear God,

I realize now that I am a sinner. I am truly sorry for my sin and I am asking your forgiveness. I place my trust in your son, Jesus, as my savior and have a desire to repent from my sin and follow His leading. Please save my soul at this moment. Thank you Lord.

Amen.
